There are many indivuals in the wider TECo community that make it the success that it is and we would like to say thank you to all those amazing people.
If you would like to put faces to names and find out a bit about the committee though, here we are!
Sonia – Chair
Joined in with a TECo litter pick in 2020 and has been involved ever since! Sonia has a particular interest in the Repair Cafes and litter picks, but enjoys getting stuck in with other projects and looks after the website. Sonia works with children and young people at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and is keen to encourage the young people of Trowbridge to be environmentally aware and to get involved.
Jen – Vice Chair
Jen started volunteering with Trowbridge Eco in 2023 and enjoys getting stuck in at the Go Wild wildlife garden in the town park. She loves gardening for wildlife and engaging with people about the work that Trowbridge Eco are doing, and talking about how gardening can change the world.
Will – Secretary
Been a member for about 4 years and likes getting involved in litter picking, river clean-ups and the Repair Cafe. Will loves walking in the wonderful countryside (K and A canal path, Avebury, Stourhead etc). Trowbridge is a great town to live in because there is so much potential here for change for the better and so many people around with so much enthusiasm.
Zoë – Treasurer
Founder member Zoë is dedicated to making Trowbridge a more vibrant, beautiful and sustainable place now and for future generations. She likes to get involved on as many fronts as possible both at activities and behind the scenes.
Trustees
Marie
Founder member. Lots of interest in environmental issues and helping Trowbridge cherish and grow its green spaces for everyone. Marie enjoys being part of TECo and getting stuck into as many projects as the week allows – with a creative hat on or trowel in hand.
Lucy
Lucy moved to Trowbridge 4 years ago and is always seeking out creative and community-based activities. Lucy is keen to help improve our little town alongside the lovely people who live here, involving her young family as much as possible.
John
John likes to support people to engage with TECo’s exciting projects. He enjoys running and walking around Trowbridge, getting his hands and boots dirty, and encouraging family and friends to get out into nature.
Fran
A biomedical scientist by trade, Fran enjoys getting creative, fixing things and spending time around town with her kids. Fran would love everyone in Trowbridge to be proud of their home town and involved in the community.
