Welcome to Trowbridge Environmental Community. Our aim is to raise awareness of environmental issues around Trowbridge. Working with local groups, charities and councils to make Trowbridge a more resilient place for future generations.
Go Wild! Sat 9th May
Join us as we tidy and make space in the nature patch in the park. Weeding, sorting, filling bug hotels and more! All ages welcome and equipment provided. Meet by the entrance to the Park on Polebarn Road.
Weavers Market 16th May
We’re having a stall on the Weavers Market on the 16th May. Do drop by to find out more about who we are and what we do! We’ll also have some seedlings and a seed-sowing activity on the go.
Summer Repair Café 13th June
Saturday June 13th sees the return of the Repair Café. Bring along your items in need of TLC. From lamps to torn pockets, electrical/mechanical/IT, sewing and bicycle maintenance, we’ll take a look. Drinks and cakes on offer if you just want to swing by and see how it works. 10 – 2 in the Guide…
The Great British Spring Clean Community Litter Pick Sun 22nd March
Fantastic turnout! 20 people teamed up to make the streets of Trowbridge more clean and tidy. We did a “starburst” from Bradford Road and collected 5 bags of rubbish and 4 bags of recycling. Thank you everyone!
Party Packs
Thinking of having a party? Prevent disposable partyware ending up in landfill and borrow one of our Party Packs instead! Enough for up to 30 people, they are FREE and come with a choice of tablecloth and bunting. For more information, click on the picture above and follow the link.
Regular Events
1st Sunday of the month 11am – 1pm – GROW at the Gloucester Road Allotments. Come and help tend the community raised beds. 2nd Saturday of the month 10am – 12pm – Go Wild in Trowbridge Park. Meet by the Polebarn Road entrance and help us maintain our space for nature. All welcome and equipment…

Winter Repair Café
On Sat 29th we opened our doors once again to the good people of Trowbridge carrying their items in need of repair! Our brilliant team of fixers repaired 25 out of 30 items and were able to offer advice on home-repairs for other items that weren’t repairable on the day. We mended bikes, radios, clothing…
Blue Heart Campaign
TECo has to date supplied the local community with over 150 blue hearts to encourage people to create or preserve a “wild” area to encourage wildlife. Summer Repair Cafe success
Our team of menders were hard at it again on Sat 28th June. Bikes, clothing, lamps and radios to name but a few items that were saved from landfill. Fix of the day was the metal detector! Our next cafe will be on Sat 27th September.
