Welcome to Trowbridge Environmental Community. Our aim is to raise awareness of environmental issues around Trowbridge. Working with local groups, charities and councils to make Trowbridge a more resilient place for future generations.
Go Wild! Sat 10th Jan 10am
Help us look after our space for nature in the town park as we do some seasonal jobs and plan for the spring. All equipment and tools provided (you might wish to bring some gloves) and all welcome. Meet near the entrance to the park on Polebarn Road at 10am.
Let’s get GROWing! Sun 4th Jan 11am
Join us at the first session of the year at our raised beds at the Gloucester Road Allotments (access via Waterworks/Gladstone Roads). We’ll be tending our wintery beds, sorting out the shed and starting to think about what to grow this year. New faces very welcome – come and see what goes on there!
Litter Pick Sunday 11th Jan 10am
Join us as we set to work on making the town a tidier place! Meet in the carpark opposite County Hall (next to the new Leisure Centre site) at 10am. All equipment provided and all ages welcome.

Winter Repair Café
On Sat 29th we opened our doors once again to the good people of Trowbridge carrying their items in need of repair! Our brilliant team of fixers repaired 25 out of 30 items and were able to offer advice on home-repairs for other items that weren’t repairable on the day. We mended bikes, radios, clothing…

Summer Repair Cafe success
Our team of menders were hard at it again on Sat 28th June. Bikes, clothing, lamps and radios to name but a few items that were saved from landfill. Fix of the day was the metal detector! Our next cafe will be on Sat 27th September.
